KUALA LUMPUR, 25 FEB-- RASMI... Timbalan Menteri Penerangan Komunikasi dan Kebudayaan Malaysia Y.B Datuk Joseph Salang memukul gong simbolik merasmikan 1st International Conference on Broadcast Training, di sini, hari ini. Turtut menyaksikan, Pengarah Institut Penyiaran dan Penerangan Tun Abdul Razak, Dato' Adilah Shek Omar (dua dari kanan) dan  Pengarah Asia- Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) Yang Binyuan (kiri). Persidangan selama dua hari ini bertujuan untuk menyumbang ke arah membina kapasiti profesional penyiar dalam menangani tuntutan dan manfaat maklumat baru  teknologi komunikasi untuk pertumbuhan jangka panjang. ASEAN and Netherlands to Strengthen Cooperation

The Secretary-General of ASEAN, H.E. Le Luong Minh and Foreign Affairs Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Frans Timmermans, exchanged views on possible aspects on further strengthening cooperation between ASEAN and the Netherlands as well as ASEAN-EU cooperation. During the meeting that took place yesterday at the ASEAN Secretariat, the two leaders discussed a variety of issues including developments in ASEAN, the needs of ASEAN, and future developments in ASEAN-the Netherlands relations.

Foreign Minister Timmermans Took the opportunity to congratulate SG Minh for assuming the role as the new ASEAN Secretary-General for the period of 2013-2017. He underlined the Government of the Netherlands’ strong commitment to further intensify its cooperation with ASEAN in the areas namely, education, human rights, investment, and science and technology.

In response, SG Minh warmly welcomed Foreign Minister Timmermans and his delegation to the ASEAN Secretariat,as well as thanked the Netherlands for its assistance to the efforts in capacity building of the ASEAN Secretariat. SG Minh also conveyed Foreign Minister Timmermans That ASEAN Secretariat looks forward to enhancing the relationship between ASEAN and the Netherland in addition to ASEAN and EU.

• This theme stresses the role of the people in ASEAN Member States in advancing cooperation in the areas of political-security, economic and socio-cultural. It also asserts that the region’s future is dependent on how the people of ASEAN move and work together to ensure progress for the development of the whole region.

Description of the ASEAN logo 2013

• The entire logo is a form of “Bunga Berputar”, one of the flower patterns found in Bruneian traditional woven fabrics. This reflects the dynamism of ASEAN which is constantly moving ahead to meet its needs in the political, security, economic and social areas.
  
• The logo features 10 human figures holding hands with one another, symbolising ASEAN nationals from all the 10 ASEAN Member States who are united in working together in developing ASEAN in the political, security, economic and social areas.
  
• The red, black, yellow, white and blue colours of the human figures reflect the colours of the flags of ASEAN Member States. The blue represents peace and political stability. Red depicts courage and dynamism in upholding security. White shows purity while yellow symbolises economic prosperity.
  
• The ASEAN Emblem at the centre represents a stable, peaceful, united and dynamic ASEAN.

DATUK Ibrahim Abdul Rahman menunjukkan salinan laporan polis berhubung sistem E-Akhbar dan E-Press Jabatan Penerangan yang telah diceroboh dan digodam oleh pihak tidak bertanggungjawab di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Putrajaya petang ini. - UTUSAN

PUTRAJAYA 18 Feb. - Ketua Pengarah Penerangan, Datuk Ibrahim Abdul Rahman hari ini membuat laporan polis berhubung pencerobohan sistem e-Akhbar dan e-Press milik Jabatan Penerangan yang memaparkan kenyataan kononnya Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak meletak jawatan.

Laporan polis itu dibuat di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Putrajaya pada pukul 3.30 petang.

Bercakap kepada pemberita, Ibrahim berkata, berita tersebut bukan sahaja memaparkan kenyataan palsu malah mencemar nama baik Jabatan Penerangan dan menimbulkan kekeliruan dalam kalangan orang ramai.

"Laporan polis ini dibuat mengenai usaha pihak tertentu yang tidak bertanggungjawab menceroboh laman web Jabatan Penerangan khususnya sistem e-Akhbar dan e-Press yang merupakan lidah rasmi kerajaan memaklumkan aktiviti rasmi kerajaan sama ada perdana menteri, timbalan perdana menteri atau menteri Kabinet.

"Selain memapar kenyataan itu, turut dimuat naik memo daripada rakyat yang mengandungi pelbagai permintaan kepada kerajaan dan ada daripadanya tidak munasabah," katanya di sini.

Sebelum itu, Jabatan Penerangan telah membuat kenyataan akhbar menafikan mengeluarkan sebarang kenyataan berhubung perkara tersebut.

Menurut Ibrahim, pihaknya menyedari kenyataan itu dipaparkan pada pukul 8.05 pagi dan percaya dimuat naik pada pukul 6 pagi ini. - UTUSAN
